Unique Identity Number (UID) Process to start in Gulbarga,Yadgir Dists from June 27

The Adhar Scheme aimed at giving a special identity number to every citizen of the country would be given a kick start in the district from June 27, noted E-Administration Department Principal Secretary M N Vidyashankar.

The scheme has already been implemented in Mysore and Tumkur districts, and by July 15, 95 per cent of the residents in these two districts would get unique identity cards, and they will be the first districts in the country to implement the scheme.

Adhar Cards :Finger prints, biometric scan of eyes and photographs would be collected, and cards would be issued within 30 days. These cards are essential for all Indians.

E-Administration Department Executive Officer D S Ravindran spoke on the role of officials on effective implementation of the project. Additional DC Mutt Mallikarjun demonstrated the project. He became the first to get the card in the division. Regional Commissioner Rajneesh Goyal, Hyderabad Karnataka Development Board Secretary Shalini Rajneesh CEG Project Director T Prabhakar, Deputy Commissioner R Vishal, Sameer Shukla, Guruneet Tej, Anbukumar, ZP CEOs, SP’s and other government officials of Gulbarga division were present. iam working in kuwait how can i avail this, this is the flaw of this system they are only taking into consideration people living their what about people who are working abroad, can it be done when they come for vacation.

it same like Iqama system in saudi arabia here every thing is linked up Iqama an you need this to renewed very 1 or 2 years if it expire every thing is blocked an even you can withdraw from your account..

I heartly well come UID implementation Process in gulbarga, i think the application process should be made in both manually and online,the illiterate people can go for manual submission and literates can go for online so that after successful registration we can directly go for person and address verification so as to get rid off the problems like standing in Q for long time, brokers involvement and it is also time saving procedure for UID dept and also for people…

Great Work and No doubt UID will have same value as passport,How about those who r staying in Foreign Countries,Is their any Online process for applying….

UID is the Universal Identification, that the central govt of india is providing to every citizen of india. through the private agencies with free of cost. in future UID is the identification for all our basic needs like for opening bank account, for getting a job, for getting any travel tickets etc etc, so its a mandatory that everyone should have a 12 digit UID no, that is generated randomly with the inputs of IRIS, fingerprint etc., information. so UID is the unique that every must have either today or tommarow. the requirement to get UID is carry your Identification & address proof, a origional document and get verify with the govt. official at the UID center and get enrolled in the UID system…
