Today, Successful Dr Raj Cup cricket tournament held at Chandrasekhar Patil Stadium, Gulbarga. Cine actors Upendra, Punit Rajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Shobharaj, Srinagar Kitti, Yogesh and MLA Rajugouda were present.
An exceptionally large crowd gathered in the stadium to glimpse their favorite actors.
Dr Raj Cup-3 final league matches were played here as the initials matches had already been played at different venues in the state(Bijapur, Bagalkot) held primarily for charity cause of raising funds for the welfare of the marginalised sections of the society.
The matches were inaugurated by Animal Husbandry Minister Revu Naik Belamagi, who also danced to some Kannada hits. Others who participated in the function included Small Scale Industries Minister Narasimha Naik and Shashil G. Namoshi, MLC.
