Why is there no Karnataka or Gulbarga specific events in this utsava?
I think govt of Karnataka has signed some contract with above artists n it keeps callin only them in every part of Karnataka. Instead it shud encourage artists from Karnataka at large scale

It is feel good factor to have utsavs like Gulbarga Utsav & Bidar Utsav, in so called backward regions of Karnataka. But the real issue like education, employment , road & rail facilities should also be addressed. It in celebrating the Gulbarga Utsav, it seems that, the issue of relocation of the prestegious IIIT , from Gulbarga to Dharwad, due to some clumpsy reasons, is forgotten. We should strive hard to get the IIIT back to Gulbarga as per the Original plan. No Utsavs can compsensate this loss of relocation of IIIT outside Gulbarga. We all wish that such Utsav will lead to faster progress of this region.

I agree with you Sunil! Gulbarga needs IIT and we cannot compromisse with it.
To develop Gulbarga such efforts like IIT is needed. If Govt really wants to develop the city they will relocate the plan and we need to fight for it.
There is no point in developing the developed region.
