The dream project of this region, the Gulbarga airport is fast turning into a reality. The Construction work has gained momentum. If everything goes according to plan, the maiden flight from Gulbarga will take-off next year.
Establishing a airport in Gulbarga was the long pending demand of the people from this region. The project got a nod fromthe government three year ago. However, the construction work was moving at a snail pace. Evaluating the slow pace of the work, peoples spirits were dampened .However, now once again the construction work has caught pace and is being completed at the earliest.

Gulbarga is rapidly growing & developing city and it also developing industrially and it is also the capital city of hyderabad karnataka. Density of people in gulbarga is growing. Hence we need airport in gulbarga. And its is also highlight city in entire north karnataka for shopping malls and multiplex theaters. Gulbarga is also included multi religion centers, university and highcourt. I am proude to be a part of our SUNCITY (Gulbarga).

I donot think we require an air port in Gulbarga. As it may have other disadvantages to have an airport.

Well Said Mr.RAJ, As i am a Travel Agent running a brand Travel company in Gulbarga, we sale lots of Air tickets to Bombay / Bangalore/ Delhi and almost all places of INDIA and also we have International traveler from GULBARGA city.
Things are change, people instead of paying Rs.1500 for AC travelling 12 Hrs, they will prefer 1 Hr journey paying 2000-3000 air fare.for saving time.
whatever G city will keep growing & rocking, so let us pray to grow or city, with lots of hope & opportunities for our localities.

y do u think we dont require. we require it for the development of our home town. when flights fly it vl be easy for us to go smwhere urgent frm glb itself, y shd v go to hyd or blore to catch a flight. when the construction is complete there are still many things to come…
